Back to School Tips and $1,000. Visa Giveaway!

Welcome to the Back to School Blast!

Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.
1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist - Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.
#2 - Start as early as possible to watch for the best prices. #3 - Check clearance shelves, sometimes you can find exactly what your looking for! #4 - watch for 2 for 1 sales. If you have 2 children this is especially helpful. #5 - Take advantage of store purchase programs just beware of buying more than you need.
The Back to School Blast was organized by Mom Powered Media.

  1. In a lot of families, the kids are allowed to stay up later in the summertime. It's a good idea to start moving bedtime back toward the school year hours several weeks before school starts again. It will be easier for the kids in the long run.

  2. Stock up on all school supplies for the whole year while they are cheap!! Some folks only get what their school requires and often those same things and more are needed halfway through the year.

  3. Earlier bed times about 2 weeks before School starts and earlier wake ups in the morning to help adjust to the change.

  6. I don't purchase any clothing because the weather is still warm when we head back and the clothing always goes on clearance after s hool starts and the back-to-school sales.
I also buy a lot of school supplies after the back-to-school sales because they go on clearance so I can use it for the big binders and such that we have to buy a lot of throughout the year!
    Thanks for the opportunity!
