We have had the great opportunity to be able to facilitate reviews for Chicken Soup for the Soul. We receive some of the newest editions, and this one is called "Miraculous Messages from Heaven", written by Jack Canfield, Mark Hansen, and Amy Newmark.
I can't imagine there are too many people that have
not heard of Chicken Soup for the Soul, for those
who haven't Chicken Soup for the Soul is a
household name for books that help bring peace,
hope, and inspiration to the soul. The books are a
collection of short stories that are sent in by
ordinary real people like ourselves. They share with
us stories from their own lives and experiences.
Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield are
internationally known speakers, and the founders
of Chicken Soup for the Soul. They had both built
speaking careers by telling motivational, inspirational,
and uplifting stories. Their audiences could use their
stories to discover, experience and retain key concepts
and approaches. After getting requests from their
audiences for years, that they put their stories in book
form, Jack and Mark finally agreed. They decided they
wouldn't focus on themselves but rather reach out and
seek contributions of powerful tales from ordinary people
doing extraordinary things. After they rounded up 101 of
the most inspirational submissions, that they knew had the
potential to make quite an impact, they were left with an
untitled book. Jack and Mark agreed to meditate on the
subject for one hour a day. Jack visualized an image of
his grandmother's chicken soup, he remembered she had
said chicken soup would cure anything. the book would
have the same healing powers, not for the body but for the
soul. Thus, the now famous title was born and released
June 28, 1993, it was a holiday favorite by the end of the year.
Chicken Soup for the Soul, Messages From Heaven is a
new edition from the classic inspirational series of books,
its 101 stories of powerful connections and divine signs from
the beyond. The amazing experiences shared in this book
really do reach inside and touch the heart. Every other
story shared I was shedding tears. I have always believed
that our loved ones have just gone onto a different journey
after this life is over.
When I was young with my first child, a daughter, my
grandmother had passed away. It was during a time her and I
had been distanced from each other for awhile. The day I
was told about her passing I cried and cried because she had
never got to meet my daughter. That night I woke in the middle
of the night to find that my daughters dark room was lit up by this
amazing yellow colored light. I didn't feel scared, just this sense of
peace that she didn't leave without seeing my daughter.
I would recommend this book and any of the Chicken Soup for the Soul
books, they are healing to the soul, just as Jack and Mark had intended.
The stories that are shared help renew faith, and their therapeutic,
knowing that almost anything you'r going through their have been others
there. That there are others who care enough to share their experiences.
