Lugz Empire WR EEE Therabuck Boots Review
We were given the opportunity to facilitate a review for the Empire WR Eee Thermabuck boots from Lugz .
My son has started his first year in high school. Circumstances this year mean for awhile he has walk to school, close to a mile away. We wanted to make sure he had a good pair of shoes to trek this distance twice a day. We greatly appreciate that Lugz has constructed a boot that will not only go the distance and last for the long haul, they also provide a comfort my son says is great!
The man made Empire WR Eee Thermabuck Boots we received came in a golden wheat/cream color. They are water resistant with a padded tongue and collar. The sock liner is flexa stride memory foam, and ASTM-F1677 Mark ll tested slip resistant thick rubber sole. These boots are rain resistant as well. The construction of these boots are durable and high quality.
I worried only a little my son would come home after wearing them for the first day complaining, they were too heavy, or they were too tight. He is a teenager, he likes to complain. I was pleasantly surprised that he had not one complaint! He said their light enough for the long walk, and after all day in them his feet can still breathe, he doesn't feel stuffy in them. He excitedly told me a few times, at least, how much he loves the memory foam in the foot bed that provides all the cushion. I like that he loves them so much that he makes it a habit to make sure their nice and clean every day, even telling me now he needs a specific shoe cleaner (which I knew of course.) Something he never worried about before.
Now after wearing them he talks about the comfort and how flexible the boots are on his feet. As a rule he just wears his footwear and complains or says nothing. He was thoroughly pleased with his Lugz. As a mom and consumer I am ecstatic to find boots with such comfort and value that my child (man sized but still a child to me) likes and is comfortable in.
Lugz, always an innovator and leader first made a name for itself in October of 1993. It was then they brought their first line of boots to the market. Their initial products were two style of boots, a quilted vest, and a pair of jeans. Lugz was soon after endorsed by key players from the hip hop world, and continued to do so through the years. One such collaboration with the introduction of the first ever celebrity-endorsed 'Funk Master Flex' , an urban driving shoe that breathed a whole new life into a new category of footwear. That lead to another collaboration line with hip hop superstar Bryan "baby" Williams, with his own line of sneakers and boots. In 2006 Orange County Choppers who already wore Lugz signed on to endorse them. In the fall of 2008, Lugz shot on to signing its first two MMA fighters, Lyoto Machida and Houston Alexander as endorsers. From its inception Lugz footwear has been an innovator in the market. from its signature styles to creating trendsetting styles beyond boots. They have added sandals, athletic and casual shoes to the mix for Lugz Women, Men, and Kids lines. They're products are aggressively styled using the highest quality materials for maximum durability, and superior comfort.
