Uncorked Ventures Exploration Wine Club Review

The Easton H House Red is a red wine, from Easton Wines. Easton Wines stands out among the Sierra Nevada Foothill growers, for well over a generation now. Among the only growers in the region Bill Easton is willing to take chances and produce wines that don't encompass Zinfandel, the grape that will still spring up wild among the hillsides. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. the Easton H House Red aims to be easy drinking. Its an easy choice of wine for any day of the week. Note the standard California Cabernet in play, a solid structure but not overly dramatic in a way that destroys everything around it. You will also note the zesty and spicy flavors that are reminiscent of Syrah, at the forefront as you get through the bottle.

My husband and I loved that both wines seemed to be blended with perfection. His favorite was the spicy taste of the Easton H House Red, while The apple and the citrus mixed with almond in the Solo Chardonnay really spoke to me.

Uncorked Ventures, a wine club which provides its customers with the best wines from Washington, California and Oregon. A family owned business, its founders are brother-laws, Matt Krause and Mark Aseltine. They came up for the concept of Uncorked Ventures while on a family vacation to South America. While the two were sipping on Pisco Sours along with wines from Chile and Argentina, they discussed their passion for food and wine, as well as a desire for something different and better. That something was Uncorked Ventures. Matt and Mark make frequent trips to wine country and develop relationships with top wine makers who grant them access to high quality, limited production wines that their customers desire.
