Missions Belt Company Review

We received a sample in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.

We had the opportunity to facilitate a review for a belt from Mission Belt Company .

Mission Belt Co is the unique and revolutionary no holes leather belt company that gives back. People wear belts everyday, yet they remain an afterthought. Mission Belt Co is concerned solely with belts. Not only do the belts look great, fit perfect, but on top of everything when you buy a mission belt you are becoming a part of a great philanthropic effort or as they like to call it "the mission". At Mission Belt, they don't just want customers to look good they want them to feel good. That is why a dollar from every belt sold goes to fight Global hunger and poverty. To date, over 8,500 Kiva (peer to peer micro lending) micro loans have been funded from sales of Mission Belts.

I found it a little funny actually that writing this review, I am thinking of our last Sunday in Church. We were a little late, my son, Bubbie ( his nickname since he was a baby) couldn't find his belt. Just his luck, that he had to stand in front of the congregation and recite this awesome poem he had written. I noticed as I starred on like any proud mama, that he was trying hard to hide the fact that he was trying to keep his pants to stay up. I decided I would gift him with a new belt.

We received the Vader belt from Mission Belt Co. The belt came packaged in a small 5.5" x 5.5" x 2 cardboard box. The outside of the box was stamped Mission Belt Co. Inside the box, the coiled belt was wrapped in a plastic sleeve. There was also a discount card for future use, an owners manual, a contact card and a Mission Belt Co sticker.

The belt buckle which is covered in a sticky protector is high quality. On our belt, the outer buckle is black while the part closest to the body is silver. On the underside of the buckle is the clasp, ratchet, magnet and release lever. We laughed when looking the belt over, imprinted on the inside of one end of the belt is "yea it's leather", while the other end is imprinted with the Mission Belt Co's website.

My son and I were both impressed with this super high quality belt. He commented "it has to be high end, I've never had instructions come with one of my belts." The instructions show you how to resize the belt, how to insert the leather and release it. Its an awesome belt. The high quality look and feel of the belt will convince you that it will last a very long time. You can purchase more Mission belt buckles and change them out.

Another great aspect of Mission Belt Co. is they give back. We love the companies that give back! For every belt purchased from them they donate a dollar to help families in need. When Mission Belt decided to update their Mission belts hev no holes, they decided they wanted to give something back with every belt. They like to think of it as corporate responsibility to give something back to hard working individuals that simply need a hand up. Since inception they have sold thousands of Mission belts and as a result, thousands of dollars have gone to help hardworking people who needed a hand up.

Mission belts would be a great gift idea for this Holiday Season, and how cool is it to know you are a part of something as big as fighting Global hunger.
