We had the opportunity to facilitate
a review for a Wheelchair Side Bag
If you or someone that you know has
to use a wheelchair or a scooter,
then you probably know that using a
good quality bag that maximizes
storage is important. I will be adding more photo's.
The wheelchair side bag from Pembrook
is an ideal organization accessory for
nearly any mobility device. This bag is
specially designed for your unique needs.
You will no longer need to fumble with a
basket or an ill fitting back pack.
The side bag attaches to the arm rests of
most manual wheelchairs or scooters. The
bag can also be used on the cross-bar of
a walker or rollator. The extra-long
adjustable hook and loop straps make
attaching the pouch quick and easy. When
you are satisfied with the location of
the bag simply trim the straps, the bag
will stay secure while still being easy
to transfer to other devices.
What makes the Pembrook Wheelchair Side
Bag different? The entire bag is 12.5 inches
wide x 7 inches tall, it is designed to expand
an additional 2-3 inches when loaded up with
items. The 5 pocket design allows for flexibility
for organization. A large open pocket in the front
measures 8 inches wide x 5 inches tall, a smaller
open front pocket is lined with fleece and sized
to fit a smartphone or glasses. The main zippered
pocket is 12.5 inches wide x 7 inches tall. There
are also two 6 inch wide x 5 inches tall back mesh
pockets. The wheelchair bag has double stitched
seams and reinforced stress points. A multi-
directional zipper with two large "O" pulls for
ease of use. Another important part of the design
is the two reflective stripes that makes itself
visible from up to 100 meters at night.
This is a great bag to start organizing all
the stuff most of us like to carry around with
us. It would be a great gift for a loved one
confined to a wheelchair, this quality durable
bag will make sure that their belongings get
from one point to the next safely. No more
ripped grocery bags or torn back packs. This
wheelchair bag from Pembrook is also made from
70-Denier DuroTec Nylon fabric that is
resistant to water. It is also machine washable
for easy cleaning.
I personally cannot walk more than 15 or 20 feet due to lung disease, therefore, I spend the majority of my time out in a wheelchair. I have tried carrying wallets and purses they either fall out (I've lost a couple) or they slide around and get dumped or stuck in the wheels of my chair. Backpacks are awkward and make it difficult to sit back, leaving a sore back. I really liked that the Pembrook Wheelchair Side Bag connects right to the wheelchair, there is no dumping of my personnel belongings. There is enough space to carry my glasses, cell phone, tablet, pen, money, chewing gum, even my wallet itself fits with ease. I am very pleased with my new bag.
