Sands Alive Glow! Starter Set from Play Vision Review

We received a sample in exchange for a honest an unbiased review.

Recently we had the opportunity to review Sands Alive Glow Starter Set from Play Visions.

We decided to pull out the Sands Alive Starter Set one Friday night when we were all home. They all had a great time with it, but I think our six year old son probably had the most fun, as now he asks if he can play with it almost everyday. I seem to think it's the texture that he likes most of all, making it a great time for sensory play. With his sensory issues anything to do with hearing, seeing, touching, tasting or smelling really effects him one of two ways either great or awful. Sands Alive had a wonderful effect.

The Sands Alive Glow is an ultra smooth soft and mold-able sand that glows in the dark. The set includes UV LED glasses, UV pen light, play tray and one pound of glow sand. The set is recommended for ages 3+. My camera would not take pictures in the dark, therefore the sand doesn't appear as bright

The kids were all amazed when we turned the lights off and the sand glowed in the dark. They had all sorts of fun making pictures and writing their names. The glow sand reacts in the dark with the UV glasses and pen. The kids have spent a lot of time playing with this sand. It is not messy, there is no mixing it with anything just lots of fun to be had. This is the world's first glow in the dark sand.

I like it a lot better than when we get the play dough set out. This set is fun and it saves on messes. Find yours on Amazon , it's affordable and will keep the kids busy with fun for hours!

What do you like about this product? Who would love it?

  4. This looks like quite a fun contraption to use with the kids, supervised. I think it would take their mind off going swimming at evening so they can get ready to simmer for a looming bedtime.
