  1. The girls Liked playing Life on the weekends it takes forever! We also liked to play Nintendo Mario and Zelda. Of course Monopoly and Clue were always our good backup games we enjoyed!

  7. My family plays a lot of games. I guess my favorite memory is playing Monopoly with my In-Laws. It was a great way to get to know them, and to spend time together without just staring at the TV.

    My favorite memory of a board game was playing Sorry with my nieces and nephews when they were little. :) I now have kids of my own who, I hope, will enjoy it too in a few years.

  10. One of the biggest family games we played when I was a little girl was chutes and ladder, I loved that game and I also taught my children how to play and now I get to play with my grandbabies,, We also like operation, battleship, sorry, monopoly, candyland and I am sure I could go on on .

  14. One of my favorite memories is playing the board game Uncle Wiggly - I was an only child for 9 years, and my parents played COUNTLESS games of Uncle Wiggly with me - I'm sure it wasn't at all thrilling for them, but they cheerfully did it.

  27. I remember my grandmother teaching me how to play Bunco. I was very young, maybe 9 or 10. My other grandmother taught me how to play Canasta. I have loved both games to this day :)

  31. My favorite memory of a board game is actually about a memory game! It was called Husker Du, and my skill at it became the stuff of legend in my family. Even from a super young age, I was trouncing the adults in the family. We still have the old board, and over the years my nieces and nephew have taken it up too -- making a point to challenge me regularly. :)

  46. My favorite game when I was a little kid was Trouble. I loved popping the bubble. However, I am now into Monopoly and love to collect the different boards. I remember as a teen when several of us would play Monopoly. It was always so fun even when more than half oof the time the game went flying across the room...

  49. We create new memories with games all the time with Family Game Nights. But our best times, usually the games with the most laughter, are when we play with my mom. She's in prison, so our visits are few and far between. But they're priceless. And our fun gives my kids positive images of their grandma, despite the surroundings. Sometimes good people make bad decisions, but that doesn't mean they can't have fun playing games with their grandkids.

  50. My favorite memory of a board game was playing checkers with my cousins. Every Christmas we all got a checkers game, it was a tradition I loved.
